Default quiet core

I'm considering buying a Penland Pro series pipe for my Rincon and I wanted to know if adding the quiet core would bring it back down to forestry dB standards or at least close to it. I am a weekend warrior but I take trips occasionally where I will need it to be legal. Thank you.

I would use the Swamp XL if you intend on occasionally putting the quiet core in. The Penland with a quiet core would probably still be too loud.

Would the Swamp XL put out just as much power? I want the most power gains possible and am only slightly concerned with sounds levels although I would like to stay close to legal when the quiet core is installed.

The XL will put out a bit more power than the standard Swamp. It will produce about 100 dbs open core and 97-98ish with the quiet core.

I have the XL on my Brute. Its named the XL for a reason ...LOL But once you install the quite core it really tames the beast for sure. Its a little louder then stock when the quite core is installed but not much.Without the quite core its MUCH louder then stock. Has a nice deep sound to it.
