Yamaha® Raptor 700

The Yamaha® Raptor 700 exhaust is available as a Slip On or Full System in the HMF Performance and Competition series. Originally, a dual exhaust system was  tested on the Raptor 700, however, we found that the dual setup added unnecessary weight and failed to match the power output of a single exhaust configuration.

The Slip On exhaust with tuning can net you a notable 4 horsepower increase and a torque boost of 3 ft-lbs. But for those craving even more power, the Full exhaust system, when combined with tuning and a modified intake, can deliver substantial gains of up to 9 horsepower and 9 ft-lbs of torque to the rear wheels.

When it comes to sound, expect a moderate increase in volume—about 4-6 decibels louder than the stock muffler at idle. The Competition series comes equipped with inserts to mitigate noise levels. Alternatively, for those opting for the Performance series, incorporating the HMF Quiet Core Insert can effectively dampen the exhaust's sound output 2-4 decibels.
