Twin Loop Exhaust Instructions For Models: XPedition (2024-2024)
1. Remove the outer heat shield from the stock Muffler Assembly.(See Figure #1)
2. Remove 2 bolts and nuts holding the lower muffler mounting bracket to the frame.Then remove the 2 spring bolts from the collector.(See Figure #2)
3. Remove the muffler assembly from the vehicle by sliding the muffler assembly towards the driver side of the vehicle and out of the upper rubber mounts. (Note, spray lubricant or penetrating oil on the exposed mounting studs to ease removal.)(See Figure #3)
4. Remove the 2 upper and 2 lower heat shield mounting bolts leaving the 2 middle bolts in place.
5. Using supplied hardware (4 1/4” Aluminum spacers, 4 M6x1-20mm bolts, 4 #10 Washers) install Supplied Muffler Mounting Bracket into 4 heat shield mounting holes.(See Figure #4)
6. Using supplied (2 M8x1.25-20mm Hex bolts, 4 1/4” Flat washers and 2 M8x1.25 Nylock nuts), install New HMF Muffler onto the Mounting Bracket.(See Figure #5)
7. Using Springs from Factory Spring bolts and supplied new hardware (2 Shoulder bolts, 2 USS 3/8” Washers, 2 1/4” Flat Washers and 2 M8x1.25 Stover nuts) attach Muffler assembly to stock Collector.(See Figure #6)
8. Loosely Install supplied (2 Speed Clip Nuts And Band Clamp) onto Lower Muffler assembly.(See Figure #7)
9. Hang Lower Muffler Assembly onto Upper Muffler Assembly and Exhaust mounting bracket and secure to the bracket using supplied (2 M8x1.25-20mm Hex Bolts).
10. Make final adjustments to Muffler Assemblies and tighten all hardware.(See Figure #8)
