Polaris RZR XP 1000 HD Front Bumper 26 Installation Instructions

Removal

1. Begin by removing the (2) plastic rivets, and (2) Torx bolts securing the Plastic front bumper fascia to the vehicle.(See Figure #1)

2. Next remove the (2) torx bolts securing the lower grill to the factory bumper, the (6) bolts securing the bumper to the vehicle, and remove the factory bumper. (Note: It may be necessary to remove the center hood panel to allow access and loosen the hood bolts.  This will help in removal of the factory bumper)(See Figure #2)

3. Finally remove the (2) Factory bolts securing the lower winch support bracket to the frame. 

Installation

1. Begin by installing the Left and Right Upper Mounting Bracket Assemblies behind the tabs of the lower front grill mounts.   These will mount in place of the original upper bumper brackets using the factory hardware.

(Note: Winch removal not necessary)(See Figure #3)

2. Loosely hang the HMF HD Front Bumper from the Upper Mounting Brackets using the supplied (2) M8-1.25x25 Buttonhead Bolts, (4) 1/4" Flat Washers, and (2) M8-1.25 Nylock Nuts.(See Figure #4)

3. Now loosely secure the Lower Mount of the Bumper to the vehicle using the supplied (2) M10-1.5x25 Hex Bolts, and (2) 3/8" Flat Washers.(See Figure #5)

 

4. With all components in place make any final positioning adjustments and tighten all hardware.
