Polaris XPedition 5 AD Rear Bumper Installation Instructions For Models: XPedition 5 (2024-2026)
1. Begin by removing the (5) factory torx bolts securing the factory drip tray . (See Figure #1)
2. Remove the (6) 10mm head bolts securing the bed pivot mounts and (2) Torx head bolts adjacent to the mounts .(See Figure #2)

1. With the factory hardware removed from the Bed Pivot mounts slide in the new HMF Left and Right Mount assemblies and Loosely install Using the factory (6) 10mm Head Bolts and replace the factory torx bolts with the provided (2) M6-1.0x25 mm hex bolts and (2) #10 Flat Washers .(See Figure #4)

2. With the new HMF Rear Bumper Mount Assemblies in place looosely hang the New HMF Rear Bumper front the mounts using the provided (4) M8-1.25x25 Hex bolts (8) 1/4" Flat Washers and M8-1.25 Nylock nuts .
3. Using the (5) Factory Torx Bolts finish securing the HMF Rear Bumper into the Factory Drip Tray bolt holes . (See Figure #6)
4. Install the HMF Step Plates using the supplied (8) M4-.7x12 Button Head Bolts (8) M4-.7 Nylock Nuts (8) M4 Flat Washers .(See Figure #7)
5. With all compontents and hardware in place make any final adjustments and tighten all hardware .(See Figure #8)
6. Install the Rear Lights into the HMF Rear bumper and using the supplied hardware .
7. With the lights in place, starting with the rear half of the harness attach the shorter tail light connector to the left light and the longer tail to the right light .
8. Secure the harness main connector close to the driver side bed pivot with enought slack to allow the bed to tilt if your machine has that option .
9. Route the front harness throught the inside of the cab up to the desired switch location .
10. With the switch in the desired location find a place to secure the relay .
11. After the Relay and switch are in place double check all connections, slack by the bed pivot and connect the battery terminals with the fused connector to the positive battery terminal.
