The engine of the Yamaha Grizzly 550 EFI used the 700cc engine as its base. With redesigning the head and flow technology the engineers gained new power for the 558cc engine. When we installed our slip on exhaust lineup, we were able to pick up 8% more horse power with the Utility Series. We got insane numbers on the dyno chart with the Swamp/Swamp XL Slip On installed on the 550. If your a serious mudder, you can attach the Swamp Snorkel to the Swamp/Swamp XL series for deep, muddy waters.
HMF Performance Series: The HMF Performance Series is specifically designed for utility machines and delivers the most horsepower & torque per dollar of any series. It was specifically designed to deliver maximum power gains throughout the RPM range. If you need to run quiet from time to time, the Performance Series accepts the optional HMF Quiet Core.
Penland Pro Series: The HMF Penland Pro Series was designed specifically for utility machines and GNCC Pro Level Competition. It features the TRM core that allows you to tune your bike for overall power or extra low end torque. The HMF Quiet Core is available if you need to run quiet .
HMF Quiet Race Series: The Quiet Race Series is designed for racing machines and meets most sound regulations while still delivering horse power gains. When compared to the Sport Series exhaust with a HMF Quiet Core installed, the QRS delivers more horse power and less dB. With the specially designed core, the HMF Quiet Core can not be used on the Quiet Race Series.
Swamp Series: The HMF Swamp Series was designed specifically for quads that need pure, all out horsepower. Through the deep, muddy waters to the starting line of the GNCC, the Swamp Series blisters power that gives you absolute control. It features a 5" stainless steel exhaust and produces very little sound dB over stock. And with the optional HMF Quiet Core, most machines can see a dB decrease over stock!
Swamp XL Series: The cousin of the Swamp Series, the Swamp XL Series delivers the same insane power as the Swamp Series but with an unrestricted sound level. If you want to be heard tearing up the track or busting through the woods, the XL is the pipe your looking for. Also in a 5" stainless steel can, this beast will give you all the power and noise you can handle.
